SINOTRUK
China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Sinotruk") originated from Jinan Automobile Manufacturing Plant, which was established in 1956. It is the cradle of China's heavy-duty automobile industry and is now one of the key enterprises directly supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Jinan City, Shandong Province. In 1960, Sinotruk produced China's first heavy-duty vehicle, the Yellow River JN150 eight-ton cargo truck. In 1983, it successfully introduced the Steyr heavy-duty vehicle project from Austria, becoming the first enterprise in China to fully adopt foreign heavy-duty vehicle manufacturing technology. In 2007, Sinotruk listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's main board as a red chip, initially establishing an international platform. In 2009, it successfully achieved strategic cooperation with Germany's MAN company, which took a 25%+1 share in Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Limited. Sinotruk introduced three engine models, D20, D26, and D08, as well as medium and heavy-duty truck axles and corresponding vehicle technologies from MAN, laying a solid foundation for the company's long-term development. Currently, Sinotruk has become China's largest heavy-duty vehicle production base, making outstanding contributions to the development of China's heavy-duty vehicle industry and national economic construction.
